WinMPG Reviewer's Comments
Although WinMPG looks like a simple application we had a little difficulty figuring out the program at first. Perhaps in this case its simplicity works against it. Additionally, we were unable to rename the video before sending it to the output folder.

Advanced X Video Converter Reviewer's Comments
Advanced X Video Converter is one of the more popular video converters on the market; however, it's input and output selection is sparse comparatively and it seemed to have difficulty converting many of our test videos.

Apex Movie Converter Super Reviewer's Comments
Visually Apex Movie Converter is a simplistic video converter that appears to have it all. However, in our tests Apex Movie Converter struggled. It failed to convert many of the files formats we tested including inputting MP4, MOV and VOB files, especially to an AVI format.

Cucusoft Reviewer's Comments
Cucusoft's Video Converter software is a basic conversion program that really doesn't do much. You input common file types like WMV, AVI, MPEG and MP4; however, they can only be converted to MPEG, VOB or DAT. More specifically, DVD, SVCD or VCD, designed mostly for tangible media. We suspect this software is best used for those trying to place home videos on to DVD.

WinAVI Video Converter Reviewer's Comments
WinAVI is a simple application that performs simple functions. It isn't really a bad program, so to speak, we were just sad to find that it's conversion input and output options were limited, and it's customization options were minimal.

SoftPepper Video Converter Reviewer's Comments
Softpepper Video Converter is an easy to use application, that has an uncanny resemblance to one of the higher ranked products, Movavi. Softpepper supports the conversion of WMV, AVI, MPEG, MOV, RM and MP4. Not a large list, but it does cover the basics. However, we would have liked the ability to convert VOB (DVD) and FLV (Flash) files.

Blaze Media Pro Reviewer's Comments
We have mixed feelings about Mystik Media's Blaze Media Pro video converter software. The company has performed well in other reviews and this particular software includes a slew of additional features that most of the other products couldn't hold a candle to. However, Blaze Media Pro lacked the features it needed most, like a comprehensive selection of input and output files. Additionally, we found the software was slow loading and used a lot of RAM, making our computers run slower overall.

Movavi Video Converter Reviewer's Comments
Movavi accepts most common file inputs and will output to several portable devices and common file types. You can also rip movies from DVDs with the help of a integrated encrypter. However, Movavi Video Converter can not convert FLV files downloaded from the Internet.

Digital Media Converter Reviewer's Comments
Comparatively, Digital Media Converter seems dated and could probably do with a minor facelift. It is a plain, functional video converter program that does what it needs to do without any frills.

Roxio Copy & Convert Reviewer's Comments
Roxio is a well known company with a considerable reputation. Roxio's Copy and Convert video converter program, while not the best we've evaluated, it is certainly not the worst. Roxio Copy and Convert is a perfect example of how software doing exactly what it is supposed to do.
